Due to busyness, my reflection was delayed this week.
This morning, very early, I went for a brief hike to clear my mind and prepare for the day. As I walked through the woods, there were some beautiful sunbeams shining through the thick canopy of leaves. It’s always a joy to see such radiance. Seasons are not always clear, and can be full of unknowns, but all around us there are still sunbeams that are piercing through the canopies of the unknown and uncertain moments of life. Indeed, we can be those beams of sunlight for others. We can be the sharers of light, warmth, and love that show up amidst the canopies of the unknown and uncertain times in the lives of others. How can we be those beams of light? Beams of light can look like kind words of encouragement, smiles to a stranger, or finding ways to serve our neighbors. There are so many ways to share the light and love of Christ with others, and all of those possibilities begin with intentionality. Perhaps, today, be intentional (even one time) in sharing some light and love with another today.
Blessings!
